3 Tips for Keeping Your Brain Strong 74

There are three things that you can do to keep your brain strong. They are keeping your mind active, feeding your body the right food, and exercising your body.
For starters, to keep your brain strong, you should keep your mind active. The best way-perhaps-to do that is to become a lifetime learner. Never stop learning. All of us have things we would like to learn more about. I myself, for instance, would like to improve my knowledge about science. Also, I would like to learn more about ancient societies and evolution. I would also like to expand my knowledge about consciousness, investment, music, and a whole host of other topics-the list goes on. Not only do I want to do all of these things, I am, in most cases, doing something about them by, for example, reading a book on investment, science, or health. You should do the same thing. Find out what you desire to learn more about and make that an active pursuit. You don't need to spend a whole hour doing it, you can simply spend just 15 minutes a day.
Another way to keep your brain strong is to feed your body the right food. Namely, you should eat a lot of salmon and vegetables. Salmon supplies your brain with a lot of omega-3 fatty acids. Not only do they keep your arteries clear so that nutrients can flow unimpeded into your brain, but also they keep your neuro-transmitters functioning strong. As for vegetables, any kind will do the job. It is said that eating only two or more serving a day will keep your mental apparatus in shape.
Finally, to keep your brain strong, you need to exercise. Exercise, some think, is an a panacea for the brain. That is to say that it is believed not only to keep the body strong, but also to do likewise for the brain. In the same way that exercise keep the body with functioning well, it also keeps the mind functioning well also. In other words, it preserves the brain's cognitive functioning from decline.
These are just a few tips that you can adopt so that you can keep your brain going strong: Keeping your mind active, eating the right food, and exercising your body.
